                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2 Tim: 8-10 (Message Bible) &amp;#8220;So don&amp;#39;t be embarrassed to speak up for our Master or for me, his prisoner. Take your share of suffering for the Message along with the rest of us. We can only keep on going, after all, by the power of God, who first saved us and then called us to this holy work.&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;One day you will come to the end of your life. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;It may come sooner than you hoped or thought.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I almost lost my life twice - in a traffic incident and in a near miss on an airplane.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;By the grace of God, I wasn&amp;#8217;t hurt in either but I honestly believe there was miraculous intervention in both. After each of those incidents, it was almost like I went into a type of shock. I just couldn&amp;#8217;t stop thinking about how my life almost ended. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;The first time I almost lost my life, I didn&amp;#8217;t know the Lord except through what I was exposed to in my upbringing. Religion confused me, created questions I couldn&amp;#8217;t find answers to, and eventually led me from God. My thoughts after the first near death experience were completely different from the second. After the car incident, I didn&amp;#8217;t think so much about what would have happened to me if I had died. I blocked those kinds of thoughts because my path in life was hell bound and I knew it.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;What I did think about was that the two people in the car with me were almost killed. I had fallen asleep at the wheel and it almost cost all us our lives. It triggered the beginning process of self examination of my life. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Then in the aircraft near miss, our plane missed a head on collision with another aircraft by a short distance. I had asked Jesus into my life by that time. The thoughts I had after that incident again triggered this long season of reflection. I knew I would have been with the Lord if I had died, but what bothered me most was that I had no confidence that I would hear those words that are so talked about in &lt;strong&gt;Matthew 25:21, &amp;#8220;Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;It was like I flashed back through my life over and over going back to the day I had given it to the Lord. I began to feel great regret that I had obeyed Him way too few times and wasted too much of my life since knowing Him. I thought, if I stood before the Lord right now, I would not have been satisfied. I would have been embarrassed. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Theologically, I don&amp;#8217;t think we could stand before the Lord and feel embarrassed and I don&amp;#8217;t want to get hung up on that thought. It will be glorious the moment we stand in the presence of the Lord. The point I am making is that I wasn&amp;#8217;t satisfied with my efforts to obey the Lord and serve Him wholeheartedly up to that time. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;I believe that many if not most people occasionally &lt;/span&gt;&lt;em style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&amp;#8216;park by the side of the road&amp;#8217; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;in their walk with God. What I mean by that is they come to know Jesus and life&amp;#8217;s purpose but eventually end up spending more time pursuing their own selfish desires. Living for God takes the back seat in life. People&amp;#8217;s lives too easily become side-tracked and distracted by cares or problems or events that have stolen the focus of the real purpose of their Christian life. What is that real purpose? It&amp;#8217;s to reach people for Jesus &amp;#8211; to touch lives with His love and power &amp;#8211; and to make a difference in other&amp;#8217;s lives.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Sometimes it&amp;#8217;s not a problem or situation that causes people to become side tracked. Sometimes it&amp;#8217;s the lure of carnal things &amp;#8211; materialistic things that we allow to distract us and become too important and take up too much of our time and resources. Sometimes people are distracted by their embarrassment from persecution that comes from being a Christian. People might think you are weird so you water down and compromise your walk with God. Or maybe someone has attacked what you believe, or attacked a Christian leader you have respected, or maybe they&amp;#8217;ve attacked your church if your church is making a difference. You feel embarrassed about that and easily believe it and end up pulling back from God. Persecution is designed to bring embarrassment. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Satan is out to stop the gospel of Jesus Christ and the blessing of God to believer&amp;#8217;s lives at any cost. He will lie and deceive in order to kill, steal, and destroy. He&amp;#8217;ll use rumor, gossip, innuendo, character assassination &amp;#8211; what ever he can get people to believe to embarrass Christians, distract them, and knock them off course. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Jesus who had done no wrong was always lied about. His enemies plotted evil and wicked plots to stop Him. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Judas betrayed Him and His disciples fled and deserted Him in His worst hour. The Apostle Paul faced the same thing. His enemies vowed not eat until they killed him. Paul had liars continually persecuting him and reciting false charges against him. He ended up in prison having done no wrong &amp;#8211; being innocent of every charge, and many of his followers were too embarrassed o their leader being in prison. They backed away from Paul and eventually their life in God. Paul had to write to his followers, &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8220;Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be a partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God.&amp;#8221;(2Timothy&amp;nbsp;1:8)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;I regret any time I have ever &amp;#8216;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;parked by the side of the road&amp;#8217;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt; in my heart and wasted precious time distracted from that which is so important in this life &amp;#8211; that which I will stand before Jesus about at the end of my life. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;I want to stir up what God deposited within me and cast these distractions aside and follow Paul&amp;#8217;s consul to Timothy! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;mso-fareast-font-family:&amp;#39;Arial Unicode MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Take your share of suffering for the gospel along with the rest of us.                 &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior at the age of 24 years old.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Prior to that I had given up on God and religion declaring it (out of my frustration to really know what the truth was) a bunch of hooie.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I was wrong. I am so thankful that Jesus didn&amp;#8217;t give up on me. He continued to send people across my path that shared His love with me. I finally met the person that could truly explain Jesus and Christianity in a way that I could get it. My life changed that day and has never been the same. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;My children were all born after I became a Christian and were taught by Renee and I of his love from day one of their lives. We sang about Jesus, we read about Jesus, we learned together about Jesus. Jesus is what they knew from their earliest memories. As they grew up, they all went through the process of making their faith their own from their own convictions. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;I am telling you all this to say that their experience of Jesus &amp;#8211; from day one of their lives, was totally different from mine &amp;#8211; receiving Him into my heart at the age of 24.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;People are going to experience Jesus &amp;#8211; learning or hearing about Him, in a multitude of ways in life.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;We want to and our taught by the Lord that our central purpose in life is to share His love with others. Jesus will use us to be the lifeline thrown to those heading over a waterfall. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;He might use us to share the last words someone ever hears before they die &amp;#8211; hopefully words of Jesus&amp;#8217; love and gift of eternal life. That has happened to me numerous times. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;We are agents of His love &amp;#8211; and again, make no mistake about it &amp;#8211; it is our assignment in life. &lt;strong&gt;2 Cor. 5:18&lt;/strong&gt; says, &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8220;All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to Himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the ministry of reconciliation - the task of reconciling people to Himself.&amp;#8221; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;When a person becomes a new believer in Christ, something supernatural happens. Their eyes are open &amp;#8211; spiritually open to understanding things about God that they could never see or understand before. That is a work of the Holy Spirit and it happens to those who sincerely receive Jesus into their heart. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;When you begin to share Jesus with others, there eyes have not been opened by the Holy Spirit yet. That means what you share with them can be accepted or rejected to some degree by their mental understanding. If they accept and trust and ask Jesus into their heart, then the Holy Spirit will open their spiritual eyes. If they keep up a wall and reject what they hear, their mind will reject what you have shared and their eyes of their spiritual understanding remain blinded. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;This is why Jesus would continually say, &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8220;If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.&amp;#8221; Mark 4:23 &lt;/strong&gt;and to those who would accept Him, &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8220;But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.&amp;#8221; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Matthew 13:16&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;We are given the joy of sharing Jesus. But sometimes it won&amp;#8217;t feel like a joy. Sometimes we will share and people will listen and receive every word we say. Sometimes people will write you off as a kook.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;It is the most wonderful feeling when you lead someone to Christ. It can also hurt when someone rejects you. But as Jesus said, they really aren&amp;#8217;t rejecting you. They are rejecting Him. So, don&amp;#8217;t take it as rejection and always remember that it&amp;#8217;s not over till it&amp;#8217;s over. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;The Apostle Paul was delivering Christians to prison when the Lord got a hold of Him. He became one of the greatest soul winners in the history of man with his life and influence. The very person who rejects you today may mull over what you said and have a change of heart another day. This is our prayer for all!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;The reason I am writing this today is to say that persecution for living the Christian walk and sharing your faith, are one sign that you are having any kind of an impact for the Lord. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;We don&amp;#8217;t try to draw persecution. We don&amp;#8217;t get judgmental and tell someone they are a sinner because they are living in a sexual relationship with another outside of marriage.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;We don&amp;#8217;t act like a self righteous jerk and tell everything we do and don&amp;#8217;t do that makes us so Holy. No, we try to find ways to share how much Jesus loves them. If they get that, the Holy Spirit will take care of the sin problem as they begin to read the Word of God. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;When we do share Jesus&amp;#8217; love in the multitude of ways that we can and are led to, persecution will come. The devil will find ways to try and stop you or discourage you. Your family may reject you. Your boss may threaten you. Your friends may look at you as someone who has become a religious nut!&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;That hurts, but, if they do accept Jesus, you have been used of God to help save their soul. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Persecution will often come when you live your life for the Lord. Sometimes people may hate you just because of what you represent. Your love and godly lifestyle may make them feel guilty. Some people that attack you are just ignorant and acting stupid. Others are evil because their heart is so hard. They may lie and find ways to attack you. When this happens, remember and pray in faith today&amp;#8217;s Fresh Manna. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Pray that you be delivered from those that are being used as someone evil and wicked to come against you. Paul did. Pray what He prayed and don&amp;#8217;t be discouraged but continue to be used by the Lord! &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;This weekend my third child, my son Peter got married. We had a wonderful weekend of wedding festivities &amp;#8211; the rehearsal, dinners, the wedding, and then more relative festivities after. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;It was a long and delightful and exhaustingly wonderful weekend. And our family has just grown again. I have a beautiful and sweet new daughter-in-law that matches the words of &lt;strong&gt;Eph. 3:20 &amp;#8220;exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think&amp;#8230;&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;That verse &amp;#8211; today&amp;#8217;s Fresh Manna verse &amp;#8211; has been a foundational verse in Renee and my life.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Eph. 3:20-21 (NKJV) &amp;#8220;Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;I learned that verse early on in my Christian walk. It was actually a verse that greatly helped my faith.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I was a young man and a young Christian. I had a wife and four young children.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I felt in many ways like the richest man in the world. I loved my wife so much and my children were the greatest delight of my life after Jesus and Renee. We all loved each other and enjoyed life together. We had no extra money &amp;#8211; none! We could barely pay our bills. But our life was not about money. It was about our love for God, our love for each other, and trying to bring God&amp;#8217;s love to this world. That was what mattered. But we, like anyone else, did face the financial obligations and needs that everyone else did. And the cares of them would often try to get into our heads and thought-life and bring us down. To the very best of our ability, we would carry then right back to the throne of God and leave them there. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;I worked hard to provide for our family. Renee worked hard to make our home and family atmosphere blessed. But, we could have felt as overwhelmed as anyone over all the thoughts and cares that present themselves.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;One day I was watching a children&amp;#8217;s video with my kids. It was produced by Willie George - one of the best Pastors and at that time, children&amp;#8217;s Pastors in the country. They were &amp;#8220;Gospel Bill&amp;#8221; videos and in this one we were watching, a character called El Diablo would knock on Gospel Bill&amp;#8217;s door. Gospel Bill was a sheriff and El Diablo was a villain that never talked. When Gospel Bill heard the knock on the door and opened it, El Diablo stood there caring all these packages that he would try to hand over to Gospel Bill. One was marked, &amp;#8220;Cares&amp;#8221; and one was marked &amp;#8220;Worries.&amp;#8221;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Another was marked &amp;#8220;Sickness&amp;#8221; and another was marked &amp;#8220;Disease.&amp;#8221; Another was marked &amp;#8220;Lack&amp;#8221; and another &amp;#8220;Poverty,&amp;#8221; and on and on.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;He was trying to get Gospel Bill to take these packages. Well he wouldn&amp;#8217;t. He told El Diablo to take them back &amp;#8211;that those weren&amp;#8217;t gifts and especially for God&amp;#8217;s children.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;That little video helped me think about rejecting every care and worry and fear that would present themselves in our lives.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;We would reject them and put them at the feet of Jesus. He died to carry and take them for us. &lt;strong&gt;Galatians 3:13 &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;#8220;But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When Jesus hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, &amp;quot;Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.&amp;quot; &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Those packages represented the curse of what is in this earth and we are told here that Jesus took that curse upon Himself to redeem us from it! WE AREN&amp;#8217;T CURSED!&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;WE ARE BLESSED! &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;The scriptures go on from there to say that Jesus became that curse so that we could receive His blessings and promises. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Galatians 3:29 (NLT) &amp;#8220;And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and now all the promises (Blessings) God gave to him belong to you.&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;When our family was young, it was normal for me to wonder, God how is this all going to work out?&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;How am I going to afford to put them through school, and braces, and clothes, and college and on and on?&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I&amp;#8217;d think, &amp;#8220;I&amp;#8217;m not smart enough or skilled enough to provide for my family.&amp;#8221; The Lord would remind me to lay those things at the altar and remember that Jesus gave His life so we could expect His blessing and help. And again as today&amp;#8217;s Fresh Manna says, &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8220;Now to Him (Jesus) who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us&amp;#8230;&amp;#8221;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;#8220;&lt;strong&gt;The power that works in us&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt; is our faith in the fact that Jesus intimately loves and cares for us and desires to help in every step of our life. I don&amp;#8217;t know about you, but I never stop being dependent upon Him. I need His help every day. I have that precious promise that what He will do is &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8220;exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think,&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt; if I stay in faith. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&amp;#39;Comic Sans MS&amp;#39;;"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;As Renee and I reflected on this weekend and all that God has done in our lives, He has truly gone far beyond what we ever imagined or could have asked.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;We are so thankful to Him &amp;#8211; not just for helping and taking care of us, but for even allowing us to know Him and have this place of faith where we could cast our cares and trust Him.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;His Word is so rich with His promise and love to us. He is such an intimate and loving God. And that is why &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#8221;to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.&amp;#8221;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

I hear there is farm land, rolling hills and it&amp;#39;s where the Amish live or nearby also in Harmony. This should be fun. I think everyone needs to get away and have a change of scenery every now and then. I am hoping that the ffall colors will be at least partially there, when we get down there.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;We had a great week ministering in 2 churches in South Dakota. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;On August 17 - 20 we ministered In Rapid City, SD at First Assembly of God. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Then on August 22-24 we ministered in Yankton, SD at first assembly of God. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;During our 4 day event in Rapid City, SD we saw around 35 children come forward to be born again. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div align="left"&gt;During our 3 day event in Yankton, SD we prayed with 46 children to be born again. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One young man that came forward was from the country of Iraq. His family moved here 8 months ago after being rescued by American military. Insurgents had invaded their home because the mother was an interpreter for the military and the insurgents felt like she was a trader to the country. A son was killed in front of the mother while several children were hiding and were not killed. She was left as dead and they took his father and the family to this date do not know if he is alive or dead. The mother survived the shot gun wounds. Their house was burned to the ground and they had to fee the country. &lt;/div&gt;

I don&amp;#39;t remember the exact conversation that we had but I do remember telling her that I was not religious. At that time I was not a Christian. I didn&amp;#39;t say that I was not a Christian, I just said I was not religious. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;I have heard that being religious and being a Christian are two completely different things - is that really true???&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;Needless to say, she was trying to find a polite way to let me know she didn&amp;#39;t want to be friends anymore. Because what do a Christian and a non-Christian have in common, nothing. I have heard that statement said before too. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;I was hurt by that because we had worked together, I attended her wedding, and found her a wedding photographer. I even took pictures of her once for her fiance as a surprise gift for Valentine&amp;#39;s day. I was really upset to hear her say that. She didn&amp;#39;t speak to me agian after that.&amp;nbsp;So basically our friendship was never really a friendship in the first place.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;I find it hard spending time alone, I battle depression and anxiety. I haven&amp;#39;t been treated very well by co-workers and have been teased at work many times. Nothing was done about it. I&amp;#39;ve tried so many times to be happy, but I struggle with that even. Everyone else seems to be happy except me. &lt;/div&gt;

                &lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;font-family:Comic Sans MS;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12pt;"&gt;Have you ever poured your heart&amp;nbsp;into someone else...you&amp;#39;ve given them your time, your attention, your love.&amp;nbsp; But then they do something that hurts you, and you pull back from them.&amp;nbsp; And even if they ask for your forgiveness, it can be hard to go right back to how things used to be.&amp;nbsp; In fact, people will caution you at times like that to &amp;quot;take it slow...make them earn your trust again...don&amp;#39;t give so much this time...you don&amp;#39;t want to get hurt again, do you?&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; That sounds reasonable in the world&amp;#39;s way of thinking, but it&amp;#39;s not the way God thinks.&amp;nbsp; Because even though we do things that must make His heart hurt, He never pulls back from us or makes us earn His trust again before He&amp;#39;ll love us wholeheartedly.&amp;nbsp; Today&amp;#39;s verse says that His love is downright extravagant!&amp;nbsp; When I read that, it just made me love the Lord all the more.&amp;nbsp; And that&amp;#39;s how He wants us to love people...extravagantly, without caution!&amp;nbsp; So I&amp;#39;m going to throw caution to the wind today...and enjoy loving others God&amp;#39;s way.&amp;nbsp; Hey, let&amp;#39;s do it together! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
                &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12pt;"&gt;Ephesians 5:1-2 MSG ~ Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn&amp;#39;t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

It was an unusually cold day for the month of May. Spring had arrived and everything was alive with color. But a cold front from the North had brought winter&amp;#39;s chill back to the Midwest. I sat, with two girl friends, in the picture window of a quaint restaurant just off the corner of the town square. The food and the company were both especially good that day. As we talked, my attention was drawn outside, across the street. There, walking was a man who appeared to be carrying all his worldly goods on his back. He was carrying a well-worn sign that read, &amp;quot;I will work for food.&amp;quot; My heart sank. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I brought him to the attention of my friends and noticed that others around us had stopped eating to focus on him. Heads moved in a mixture of sadness and disbelief. We continued with our meal, but his image lingered in my mind. We finished our meal and went our separate ways. I had errands to do and quickly set out to accomplish them. I glanced toward the Town Square, looking somewhat halfheartedly for the strange visitor. I was fearful, knowing that seeing him again would call some response. I drove through town and saw nothing of him. I made some purchases at a store and got back in my car.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Deep within me, the Holy Spirit kept speaking to me: &amp;quot;Don&amp;#39;t go back to the office until you&amp;#39;ve at least driven once more around the square.&amp;quot; And so, with some hesitancy, I headed back into town. As I turned the corner I saw him. He was standing on the steps of the storefront church, going through his sack. I stopped and looked, feeling both compelled to speak to him, yet wanting to drive on. The empty parking space on the corner seemed to be a sign from God: an invitation to park. I pulled in, got out and approached the town&amp;#39;s newest visitor. &amp;quot;Looking for the pastor?&amp;quot; I asked. &amp;quot;Not really,&amp;quot; he replied, &amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;just resting.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Have you eaten today?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Oh, I ate something early this morning.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Would you like to have lunch with me?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Do you have some work I could do for you?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;No work,&amp;quot; I replied.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;I commute to the city for work, but I would like to take you to lunch.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Sure,&amp;quot; he replied with a smile. As he began to gather his things. I asked some surface questions. &amp;quot;Where are you headed?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;St. Louis.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Where are you from?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Oh, all over; mostly Florida.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;How long have you been walking?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Fourteen years,&amp;quot; came the reply. I knew I had met someone unusual. We sat across from each other in the same restaurant I had left earlier. His face was weathered slightly beyond his 38 years. His eyes were dark yet clear, and he spoke with an eloquence and articulation that was startling. He removed his jacket to reveal a bright red T-shirt that said, &amp;quot;Yashua is The Never Ending Story.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Then Daniel&amp;#39;s story began to unfold. He had seen rough times early in life. He&amp;#39;d made some wrong choices and reaped the consequences. Fourteen years earlier, while backpacking across the country, he had stopped on the beach in Daytona. He tried to hire on with some men who were putting up a large tent and some equipment. A concert, he thought. He was hired, but the tent would not house a concert but revival services, and in those services he saw life more clearly. He gave his life over to God. &amp;quot;Nothing&amp;#39;s been the same since,&amp;quot; he said, &amp;quot;I felt&amp;nbsp;Yashua telling me to keep walking, and so I did, some 14 years now.&amp;quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;Ever think of stopping?&amp;quot; I asked. &amp;quot;Oh, once in a while, when it seems to get the best of me. But&amp;nbsp;YHVH has given me this calling. I give out Bibles. That&amp;#39;s what&amp;#39;s in my sack. I work to buy food and Bibles, and I give them out when His Spirit leads.&amp;quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I sat amazed. My homeless friend was not homeless. He was on a mission - a messenger set by God and lived this way by choice. The question burned inside for a moment and then I asked: &amp;quot;What&amp;#39;s it like?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;What?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;To walk into a town carrying all your things on your back and to show your sign?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Oh, it was humiliating at first. People would stare and make comments. Once someone tossed a piece of half-eaten bread and made a gesture that certainly didn&amp;#39;t make me feel welcome. But then it became humbling to realize that&amp;nbsp;YHVH was using me to touch lives and change people&amp;#39;s concepts of other folks like me.&amp;quot; My concept was changing, too.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We finished our dessert and gathered his things. Just outside the door, he paused. He turned to me and said, &amp;quot;Come Ye blessed of my Father and inherit the kingdom I&amp;#39;ve prepared for you. For when I was hungry you gave me food, when I was thirsty you gave me drink, a stranger and you took me in.&amp;quot; I felt as if we were on holy ground. &amp;quot;Could you use another Bible?&amp;quot; I asked.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He said he preferred a certain translation. It traveled well and was not too heavy. It was also his personal favorite. &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;ve read through it 14 times,&amp;quot; he said. &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;m not sure we&amp;#39;ve got one of those, but let&amp;#39;s stop by our church and see.&amp;quot; I was able to find my new friend a Bible that would do well, and he seemed very grateful. &amp;quot;Where are you headed from here?&amp;quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;Well, I found this little map on the back of this amusement park coupon.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Are you hoping to hire on there for a while? &amp;quot;No, I just figure I should go there. I figure someone under that star right there needs a Bible, so that&amp;#39;s where I&amp;#39;m going next.&amp;quot; He smiled, and the warmth of his spirit radiated the sincerity of this messenger. I drove him back to the town square where we&amp;#39;d met two hours earlier, and as we drove, it started raining. We parked and unloaded his things. &amp;quot;Would you sign my autograph book?&amp;quot; he asked. &amp;quot;I like to keep messages from folks I meet.&amp;quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I wrote in his little book that his commitment to his calling had touched my life. I encouraged him to stay strong. And I left him with a verse of scripture from Jeremiah, &amp;quot;I know the plans I have for you, declared Yahveh, plans to prosper you and not to harm you and plans to give you a future and a hope.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Thanks, man&amp;quot; he said.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;I know we just met and we&amp;#39;re really just strangers, but I love you.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;I know,&amp;quot; I said, &amp;quot;I love you, too.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Yashua is good.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Yes, He is. How long has it been since someone hugged you?&amp;quot; I asked. &amp;quot;A long time,&amp;quot; he replied. And so on the busy street corner in the drizzling rain, my new friend and I embraced, and I felt deep inside that I had been changed. He put his things on his back, smiled his winning smile and said, &amp;quot;See you in the New Jerusalem.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;ll be there&amp;quot; was my reply. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He began his journey again. He headed away with his sign dangling from his bed roll and pack of Bibles. He stopped, turned and said, &amp;quot;When you see something that makes you think of me, will you pray for me?&amp;quot; &amp;quot;You bet,&amp;quot; I shouted back, &amp;quot;Yahveh bless you.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Yashua bless.&amp;quot; And that was the last I saw of him. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Late that evening as I left my office, the wind blew strong. The cold front had settled hard upon the town. I bundled up and hurried to my car. As I sat back and reached for the emergency brake, I saw them.. a pair of well-worn brown work gloves neatly laid over the length of the handle. I picked them up and thought of my friend and wondered if his hands would stay warm that night without them. I remembered his words: &amp;quot;If you see something that makes you think of me, will you pray for me?&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Today his gloves lie on my desk in my office. They help me to see the world and its people in a new way, and they help me remember those two hours with my unique friend and to pray for his ministry. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;See you in the New Jerusalem&amp;quot; he said. &amp;quot;Yes, Daniel, I know I will...&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
