Blog is not a Four-Letter Word

The word "blog" is short for weblog. A weblog is an online (that means it’s on the Internet) journal or newsletter that is frequently updated and intended for family, friends, or the general public. There are personal blogs and business blogs. There are even blogs that generate a profit. Blogging is about getting a sneak peek into someone else’s life.

And getting that peek helps you realize that you’re not alone—that other people have crazy lives just like yours. It’s comforting to know you’re not the only one going through life’s ups and downs.

There’s also something therapeutic about putting your life into words—documenting events and sharing stories with other people. Let’s face it—life moves way too fast!

But if you’ve never blogged before, don’t be intimidated. A blog is merely an extension of yourself and your life. You can write it any way you want, about anything you want. You can tell stories about your crazy cat who’s pottytrained, your precious and oh-so-perfect children, or anything else anything else you’d like. Or, you can just ramble on about your views on life. Anything goes.

After all, who of us wouldn’t like to share our opinions with the rest of the world? Blogging is also a great way to find people who share your interests. No, it’s not a dating service—it’s about finding communities of people who have similar backgrounds, lives, or passions.

So think of blogging as a way to share your heart with like-minded people. Follow these few simple steps to create your own blog: Gather your courage. Look at this as a creative outlet, a way to communicate and express yourself, or even a way to document your life.

CFAITH Communities has made it easy to create a blog, so
have fun, get to know fellow Christians, minister the Word to people across the country, and more. Fellowship with like-minded believers all across the globe. It's up to you. But whatever you decide to do, we are excited to have you as part of the community. God bless!

"a way to share your heart with like-minded people", I like the way that sounds, especially if it is driven from a motivation of love. Thanks for the opportunity.

When people are civil and respectful of others it is a blessing and that is what I appreciate about the Cfaith Community site....People who have primarily the same views, convictions, Biblical belief system I have but who can also bring insite and understanding to my life.

Thanks Cfaith for such a unique service.
