Is that what the Word says? no! I don't know about you but I am done with Religious games and prideful people in positions of authority in our churches. There is no wonder that the church is powerless. The Bible says that we could have a "form of godliness but denying its power" Hypocrosy is a plague in the Christian Church in America especially, we claim to know it all and are proud of it.
I don't want to sound negitive, I am a very positive person but there is a time for rebuke and righteous indignation, correct. We tend to think in American church government that we (the church) are a Democrosy type government, but NO we are a Theocrisy...meaning God is Ruler not the people.
We tend to come to God and the church Government with our Resume's saying "here i am send me" (i have done it too) But instead we have No results to what we claim to believe. No signs, miracles and wonders... David Hogan a missionary in Mexico who has raised over 28 people from the dead (personally) says to be qualified for his ministry - leadership team you must raise at least 1 from the dead.
I think that would disqualify more than 3/4 th of the church today. Although David and his team have raised about 400 people from the dead as a team, that standard is there because a resume doesn't produce power, Religios people do not have power, or love, Credentials, Diploma's and Degrees do not have power! Do you hear what I am saying? "Show me the money" Show me results of what you believe. The Bible says that God openly approved of Jesus by signs, miracles and wonders.... Acts 2:22
