Prophesy to the Dry Bones!

Recently in Middleton, Ohio, our worship team wrote a new song about the sound of the Dry Bones coming together! When they were singing this song on Sunday, the Lord began to speak through Keith Pierce, Rebekah Faubion, Janice Swinney, Barbara Wentroble and myself - several of the prophets in the House . (All through this prophecy, the singers were prophesying in song).

I AM knocking upon your door. Get up! Get up! Get up! And even though you have gone to bed, stir yourself to awaken and arise. Cross the floor! Cross the floor! Cross the floor! The day of plenty is upon you. Reach out and meet Me, your Bridegroom, in this day of holy power. I AM calling you to a deeper understanding of what I have created. I have created and placed something deep within the earth - miracles and secrets. This is a day when I am calling the groaning of the earth. My earth is groaning and groaning again, and crying out for you to connect. Connect! Connect! The heavens are open, but I need you to connect the heavens to the earth. Listen to the earth cry for My glory. Listen to the earth cry glory, glory, glory! See the ancient treasures. See them unlocked. See the hills give up and release the treasures of the land. Cry glory, glory, glory, glory on this earth!

When the great deep was broken up, the windows of heaven opened up. I would have you decree the earth is shaking and the heavens are opening! I AM the Ancient of Days and I AM causing this shaking in the earth to uncover the ancient paths that were laid which My people need to travel this hour. If they will travel the ancient paths, they will uncover the ancient treasures that have been buried. Today, the Ancient of Days will shake the earth and cause the wind to blow to uncover those ancient paths and the ancient treasures of this earth. All the places where you go - where it has been like dry bones, where it has been like death to My Spirit in nations, cities, and family units - I AM going to cause life to come back into these places. Where churches have been nothing more than museums, nothing more than dead works, I say this is a time when MY Spirit is coming to loose light. There will be such a release of the miraculous. Watch and see the miracles that I begin to loose that will cause a people to return to Me. I will break many out of dead religion and into the Life of the Spirit. I AM loosing a fresh new revival anointing on you in this hour. I have opened the gate to the cage. Step out and soar. There is freedom in the air. Step out and soar and catch the freedom.

Hear the sound. This is the sound of an army aligning and getting ready to move. This is the sound of the army of heaven connecting with the army of earth. Hear the sound of visitation. I WILL begin to visit you NOW with healing power and prophetic revelation. I AM creating a sound of boldness in you. My people have been too silent and too slack. NOW I AM rising within My people. You will find yourself carrying a new mantle and moving in a new dimension. I WILL open up ways for you. You will witness in new ways. There is a boldness for witnessing right now coming upon you, for the earth and its peoples must hear the witness of the heavens and YOU will be this witness.

Some of you have resisted revival because you feel like you are not equipped or are in too small a place, or disconnected and not positioned correctly. I must remind you that I sent a couple to Bethlehem with no room, no place and no connections, and brought forth the redemption of the people of the earth. I had many find what I was doing. Let Me work in you, and others will find you. I send lightning and I send thunder. I send My new move when I want. The Word will perform what it has been created to perform. I AM speaking into the spirit of those that are MY Bethlehems today. I WILL come in and do a strange work in this day and release all that I have that this generation will receive.

I then exhorted us to speak to our land, our homes, our businesses and spheres of authority. Cry glory to the street you live on or to your residence. Shout that the ground is beginning to rise up. Say that the land is shifting! I then began to hear, Earthquakes! Earthquakes! Earthquakes! The ground is shaking. Unusual earthquakes! Asia! Asia, you will now shake! You will see shifting winds that are shaking the nations of Asia. You will see nations shaking this week! Pray for Asia! Since then, they have experienced both cyclones and earthquakes!

Prophesied on March 14, 2008 - San Jose, California

"No limitations." God says, "Why have you limited Me? Why have you placed veils and walls and said, 'This is as far as we can go'? Who told you that? Who told you that you've got the best that you've got? Today, I'm tearing a veil of limitation. I want you to come in." God says, "I'll take you to a far greater place than you've ever been before; I'll break the power of the persuasion of your enemy that's lied to you and told you, 'So far and no more.'" God says, "Who told you that? Who told you that you can do no more than you're doing right now? I've broken something this year that's held you back, but somebody has to see it, somebody has to say it. Who told you that you've come so far and no further? I've broken the barrier, I've broken the persuasion of your enemy. I tell you run, run, run, run, run, for there is a greater dimension for you," says the Lord.

"Warriors, rise up," says the Spirit of God, "for I have desired of you. What I have prayed for has already opened up. Look no further, search no more. For I have searched for you, I have searched for a resting place. I have searched for a place where I can rest My head on the pillow of faith. I have searched for a place where I can put My feet on the sounds of praise. I have searched and I have found a people that would not hold back. For this is the year of triumph, this is the year of triumph; this is the year, for you will search no more. I have searched and I have found you. Now," says the Lord, "run, for the sound of abundance has now become the rain of abundance," says the Spirit of God.

There's No Loss in the Kingdom of God

Do you know what that means? It means you've been walking on ground for too long. God wants to give you a taste of the air; He wants to get you a taste of height. He wants to take you to the highest place you've ever been. Guess what? You've got to have a little bit of wind to get to a higher place. Kites don't fly "without" the wind; they don't fly "with" the wind; they fly "against" the wind. Who's ready to fly? No limitation; I've been persuaded I can fly.

The enemy has put up barriers and lies and persuaded you. Why are there always boundaries, why are there always laws, why does the enemy always come and restrict us? God's saying, "If you can just break beyond the veil of limitation, you'll see a place that you've never seen before." If we don't break it this year, the Church is not going to get to the place it's supposed to get. I've got a good feeling that the cloud of abundance that we've dreamed about has actually become the rain of abundance. Stop believing the persuasion that there's going to be a recession. Stop being persuaded that there's going to be a recession. Stop being persuaded that there's going to be something that's going to hold you back.

Everybody say, "No limitation at all. I've been persuaded by the Lord God Almighty that I can go to a higher place. I will fly, I will accomplish it. I will do what I didn't do last year. What was stolen from me--I will take a hold of. There is no loss in the Kingdom of God. Everything that was taken goes back to God, then He gives it back to me. When He gives it back to me, it's with one hundred fold."

God says, "There's something you've got to attain this year, and you know that you know you can do it." I have been persuaded that there are no limitations; the treasure chest has been opened up; the scroll has been opened. What stops you from accomplishing what you did not accomplish last year? What is stopping you from taking back from God's hand what the enemy stole from you? Say with me, "There is no loss, there is no loss. If it was taken from me, it was given back to God, because it all belongs to Him. He will give it back to me--and with so much more." Take it back, take it back.

Prophesied on February 16, 2008 - Detroit, Michigan

God says, "Let Me speak to Zimbabwe now." God said to me, "I want to bring judgment upon rulers of nations that have suppressed; caused genocides. I want to bring judgments." You say, "God doesn't do that." If He must, He will. If He has to send a king to eat hay for seven years--if He did it then, He can do it again. What I'm hearing is upon the ruler of that nation, "Dementia, dementia, complete and utter madness to where--removal, suddenly." You say, "Doesn't God want to save him?" Absolutely! God said, "I'm taking the families there. I'm going to protect them and I'll give them property; I'll give them freedom. Because of your prayers, I'll raise them from wheelchairs," says the Lord of Hosts.

The Spirit of God says, "There's a brand new realm of boldness that is coming to My people. No more shall there be fear. There is a boldness coming to you: a level and dimension of faith that will bring a boldness upon you; not only to come into My presence, but to stand before your enemy with boldness."

The Sound of Warriors

"Listen to the sound; listen to the sound, for," the Spirit of God says, "this sound that is coming is not a sound that I am acquainted with. The sound that I am hearing comes from a boldness, a prophetic insight from revelation; from understanding grace. The sound that I hear coming from the soil of Michigan is a sound that I am not acquainted with," says the Lord. "I am acquainted with many sounds that come from the earth that come as an aroma, but many times as a stench--a religious stench."

"I have waited for the sound of Daniel again. I have waited for the sound of David again; of Miriam again. 'I will sing unto the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously and mightily over my enemies.' I wish to hear the sound; I've been waiting for the sound of David; not the sound of David on the throne, but David in a cave in a mountain, declaring, 'My heart is fixed on God, my heart is bold, I will sing praises. Yes, I will sing praises.' That's the sound that I am waiting for."

"I've been waiting for the sound of those that were in captivity. I'm waiting for the sound of those who were taken captive. Was it not so in the days of David and in the days of the great saints that the Babylonians took them captive and they required of them a song? They said to them in Babylon, to the children of Zion, 'Sing us one of the songs of Zion.' They said these words: 'We cannot sing the Lord's song in a foreign land.'"

My God says to tell you, "You have been chosen to sing a song in a foreign land. You have been chosen to sing a song in a foreign land, for the song of the Lord and the declaration of God will not be captivated in the four walls of religiosity."

God said, "I am releasing this sound, the sound that I heard when Samson brought down the pillars, the sound that I heard when David brought down Goliath, the sound that I heard when Miriam sang a song of victory, the sound that I heard when Moses struck the rock, the sound that I heard over and over and over; that sound shall be released. That same sound that I heard on the day of Pentecost." God said, "That same sound will infiltrate the nations of this world, and I will rise up at the sound of the warriors," says the Lord. "I will rise up at the sound of the warriors."

"What I'm Doing is Taking Charge"

Men shall say, "We've waited for the miracles. We've waited for the miracles of Katherine Kuhlman; we waited for the miracles of yesterday." God says, "There are no miracles that will be captivated and taken from yesterday into today; only better, only greater. This is the year of unique miracles; this is the year of unusual miracles. This is the year where things that could not be brought to the fore, things that were not understood, shall suddenly be understood. There is a rapidity, a movement being raised up by dissatisfied saints."

God said, "Dissatisfied saints have pushed Me, and now I will manifest and bring times of refreshing, times of restoration. This shall be the year of unique and unusual manifestations. Watch out for them, look for them, for they shall come to you," says the Lord, "only by your perception. Let not the enemy blind your eyes, for those who are in this house, you have tapped into a sound that will release joy, celebration, boldness, and scare the hell out of the forces of darkness that have tried to intimidate you."

"My nation waits; 'Who shall be upon the throne? Who shall reside over the populace? Shall it be Democrat, shall it be Republican?'" God said, "This day I say to you, it matters not, for where are the conservatives?" God says, "Listen, the questions that you have shall not be answered by those that sit at the top. I'm going to shock this nation." "God, are You saying that You can take a donkey and speak through him?" "Yes, indeed."

"What about the authority that is given in the White House, men are praying?" "Men have prayed, but not in vain. My ways are not your ways. My thoughts are not your thoughts. Yet My thoughts you will understand; sometimes men who know too much about Me, know too much about Me, therefore they cannot allow Me to do what I want. Let Me take that which seems ridiculous, crazy, and show you how I can put a hook in a mouth and do exactly what I want. Rejoice, rejoice for it is not your political power now, but the sound that is being raised up from those who are about to tap into a new dimension of spirituality."

"Young men and young women shall rise up in the next four years and come to the knowledge of the truth; like Daniel did, like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did. They shall go into the power, the force, the capital, the White House and shall make a difference." God said, "No recession, no recession. I'll raise up this country and make it great again," says the Lord.

"Do not say, 'We shall not have a man who is colored in his skin; we shall not have a man who thinks like us.' I put Saul in command and look what he did. He was right, he looked good, he was head and shoulders above everyone else, and yet look what he did to My priests." God says, "Do not always say we need a Christian in power." The Spirit of God says, "This may be a dangerous thing, for there is a Saul that I've prevented from coming into the White House." Listen to what the Spirit is saying, "I have prevented a Saul in the White House--you think and work it out as you want."

God said, "What I'm doing is I'm taking charge. I'm taking charge Myself. When I do what I'm going to do, you shall look back and say, 'This is the way I know God; He can turn things around in one day.' So it shall be in one day I'll turn it around," says the Lord.

God told me this is going to be the most unusual election and the most unusual reign. "When you prophesy, there will be unique miracles and unusual manifestations that have never taken place. Watch how I work this out. America, you have been set aside once again to pioneer a sound to the nations of the world." The religious rhetoric and the religious nonsense will be taken care of by what God calls the impossible thing. Watch Him work it out.

February 15, 2008 - Detroit, Michigan

Get back, people, get back to it. God says, "I'll give you a double portion and a kingly anointing to deal with the same thing that chased you away in fear. America the great." The Spirit of God says, "So many people have asked the question, 'Where do we go from here? What is happening to our country?' Forget that now; I'm sorting your country out. It is the salt of the earth and it is the light of the world."

The Spirit of God says, "People will say, 'It's taking too long.' There are swift changes that will happen and bring delight to My people. Watch for the cloud, watch for the cloud, it is already here. Most of you haven't seen it," but God says, "Look now through the eyes of holy people and you will see it. I will bring a rain, a rain upon this nation for you and your families and your businesses, so that you will prosper. You will not walk; you will run," says the Lord. "You will have strength to go on to the next place and obtain your testimony today," says the Spirit of God.

God says, "What are they saying about a recession? What is this they are speaking about, this recession? They pinpoint Michigan, calling you one of the worst cities in America." God said, "I defy that through the mouths of the prophets. There will be no recession as prophesied and predicted. As I told you before, the Kingdom of God is not moved by the wealth of men, but the Kingdom of God is intricately woven into one thing and one thing only--the faith of men, the faith of women. I'm looking for faith; I'm looking for unusual faith. I'm looking for a faith that will turn the tide and stop the prognosticators, and that which they say will not happen as long as there are warriors that have faith unusual."

The Spirit of God says, "Once again, the city of light has allowed My prophet to prophesy. From this region they have degraded you; they have said you are nothing. Not according to the strokes given and written by the Lord's pen, Himself." God says, "Hear Me. Hear Me, O Michigan. You are about to have God's signature."

It's also about things such as "unity," the "economy" etc. Again, this is NOT my personal endorsement. Please understand it. THE MIDDLE EAST

God says, "There is a sway in the political arena; a change in your political world. Enough of this discussion about Jeremiah Wright." God said, "This makes no difference. It is a spirit that has endeavored to rock and sway the people and to divide them." God said, "I will sway it next week. Yes, I will, and because of Pennsylvania, I will raise up the man I want," says the Lord, "to rule and to reign and to declare victory in the Middle East."

We declare victory in the Middle East tonight. We declare victory in America tonight.

For the Spirit of God says, "Hear, oh people of Zion. Those who have been afraid in Zion, those who have been afraid in this nation--fear not! For your news media has intimidated you, and therefore, it is My turn. Next week, I will arise. I will change everything."

"I'M TALKING ABOUT OBAMA"

For they have unfairly spoken against an African man, and I'm not talking about Jeremiah Wright; I'm talking about Obama. For God said, "Even though you may think this or that, there is an element of righteousness inside of him to reach out for Jesus. Therefore, I will sway it next week," says the Spirit of God, "and I will cause My man, My power--to exalt in the White House what is necessary to declare victory. For this time, I shall rise up and I shall make known who I am in a way that I have never done it in this nation," says the Lord.

"Do NOT SAY IT IS THIS ONE OR IT IS THAT ONE"

For the Spirit of God says, "Do not say, 'Is it this one or is it that one?' Hear me out. I am raising up My mantle, My voice. This nation shall be awakened to a spiritual activity that has been dead for 42 years. Listen to Me," says the Lord. "I will take over in a way and in a fashion that will bring a force of spiritual unity in this nation for the first time. You can believe it or not. I will take white and I will take African, and I will bring a unity in the Church between the two of them," says the Spirit of God.

This night in America and in this next week, God has informed us to "watch" as He unfolds and reveals things so you will know that your nation has not been set aside for division and discord; but a time in the Church where African-American, where white or Caucasian, where Hispanic and every race in this nation under the spiritual guidance of the Spirit within a midst of war and division--will bring them to a place of unity.

"IT SHALL NOT BE BLACK, IT SHALL NOT BE WHITE, IT SHALL NOT BE HISPANIC"

And God said, "Where one race stood on the steps and covered the fields with million-men marches and Jesus proclamations, there shall be one of the greatest gatherings at the Capitol that you have ever seen," says the Spirit of God. "This time it shall not be black, it shall not be white, it shall not be Hispanic, it shall not be from this or that belief, but there shall be a unified sound. Two years from now, where they will hear the sounds of faith and unity and within this next reign, there will be laws that will be changed in favor of the most High God. Not because of Democrat, not because of Republican, but because of spiritual unity and intervention. I will bring you out of what they call 'a recession' into your highest economy that you've ever had in your next four years," says the Spirit of God. "Do not think it impossible, for it shall be so."

"The gatekeepers (I am speaking of) of this nation are the spiritual leaders--the Apostles and the Prophets, the Teachers, the Evangelists, the Pastors"

"For the gatekeepers of this nation are not the Mayors nor the Senators. The gatekeepers of this nation are not the Congressmen or the Congresswomen. Yes, they are gatekeepers but the gatekeepers (I am speaking of) of this nation are the spiritual leaders--the Apostles and the Prophets, the Teachers, the Evangelists, the Pastors that I've raised up. And there shall be a sound of unity that will call from Heaven the manifestation of God as it has never been in this nation. Get ready for your sons and your daughters who will prophesy just like Joel said in the last days. In the last days your sons and your daughters, they shall be prophets and prophetesses and your old men shall dream dreams. Your young men shall have visions. This is that time," says the Lord of hosts.

"LET NOT YOUR OPINION CLOUD YOUR SPIRITUAL MIND"

"Let not your opinion cloud your spiritual mind. You say, 'What are you saying?'" The Spirit of God says, "Call them not denominations, rather abominations, for I am not speaking of these that have built walls. I'm speaking of the true warriors that shall sway the political field; that will sway the justice. It shall be more than a million gathered; more than a million gathered!" And God said, "They shall say, 'Washington, what is this? This is a sound that we have never heard before.'"

"I WILL TAKE THE OIL CRISIS AND BRING IT TO AN END"

And God said, "I will take the entire Northeast and I will shake it and the double portion that I promised upon the Elisha generation shall be released. Do not say we are in recession, for I will take the oil crisis and bring it to an end, and the rapidity of it shall take place because of the unity of the saints and the unity of the gatekeepers. Get ready, for what you have seen on the television regarding Jeremiah Wright and everybody else is not for evil, but for good. I will turn it around and bring unity in My house," says the Lord of Hosts.

"YOUR PRESENT PRESIDENT WILL NOT LEAVE HIS OFFICE OR HIS TERM IN SHAME"

"Your present President will not leave his office or his term in shame. There will be a very precise vindication of numerous things that were scorned, that were mocked by men, that thought they knew but understood nothing. And when the baton is handed over," God said, "there shall be no fear in the nation." Now take that and be secure.

I speak not as a politician tonight. I speak to you as a prophetic voice. Not tolerated, but celebrated by the people. Stand firm, you and your house will serve the Lord. And as the prophet Joel said in the last days, your sons and your daughters... sons and daughters are being raised up to prophesy and to have visions. Old men to dream the dreams. That mantle has been cast upon the Church. Therefore, I would say your time of acceleration has reached its peak. You're taking off!

Bishop Harry Jackson is my friend. In the last two weeks, Harry Jackson has been on Fox News twice. I interviewed Bishop Jackson on camera a couple years ago. You can watch that interview concerning race relations, righteousness and justice by clicking onto:

Bishop Jackson and I sit on the same Council, which is called ACPE (Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders). We are a roundtable of prophetic ministers who discuss what God is saying to the Church and to our nation. This council produces a yearly report, one of which was posted in the last ElijahRain magazine. (For Harry’s full bio, see the end of this article below).

Harry Jackson is a prolific author with a heart to build understanding between the races, especially as it relates to the African American Church and the white Church. A large part of his call is to call the American Church and all its races—back to God’s DREAM FOR AMERICA.

He doesn’t seek simple solutions and yet he’s simply calling for righteousness and justice within the American Church.

"What Is God's Dream For America?"
and…
“Will America Serve
the Lord or Baal?”

The Lord spoke to me in late 2007 that the nation would have to choose whether it would serve the Lord or Baal. Israel had to make a choice in 1 Kings 19 at Mount Carmel. This is the same kind of choice Israel faced in 1 Samuel 9 when it chose Saul as its first king. Struck by this word, I asked the Lord for confirmation. Much to my surprise, Bishop John Giminez, founder of Rock Church and visionary behind Washington for Jesus in 1980, had a very similar visitation from the Lord. He said that the Lord had shown him that America was going to have to make a clear choice in 2008 between right and wrong, good and evil, the Lord’s vision for America or our own will. Essentially, we will have to have either a divine revolution or we will have spiritual ruin.

AMERICA IS OBVIOUSLY
IN A SPIRITUAL SHAKING

It is obvious to everyone that America is going through a spiritual shaking. The economy is in disarray, the war in Iraq is a persistent thorn in our flesh, and domestic ministries struggle a credibility problem. Last week, I was on many major television and radio broadcasts discussing the incendiary remarks of Jeremiah Wright from Chicago. The inflammatory words of a man that claims to be a prophetic preacher were literally heard around the world. I renounce Dr. Wright’s words, his style of preaching will never solve America’s race problem. On the other, I recognize that Wright’s ministry shows us that we are in a “kairos” moment in which racism must be addressed in our land.

Now that the media has exposed the fact that the Church is not united, there is still a huge racial wound deep within the soul of the American Church. The healing that needs to happen in America around the issue of race will come from a truly anointed pulpit. Now is the time for the Church to decide to end segregated churches(except in mono-racial communities). The answer starts with prophet preaching that changes the heart of the Church. After that, we can change the heart of the nation.

TIME FOR ANOTHER SPLITTING
OF THE PULPIT?

Please remember that the revival that Tommy Tenney participated in at Houston began with the splitting of the pulpit. This next move of God is now beginning with the cleansing of the pulpit. We must ask ourselves, is it time for preachers of righteousness to stand up and declare the true Word of God? This Word will bring healing and deliverance to the Church. After the Church is healed, we will be able to heal and direct the nation. The Lord has shown me that as clearly as racism and class distinctions were revealed during the Katrina tragedy, the election is revealing that we have not dealt with the problems of race, gender, and class in our nation.

This election year has brought an entire new slant on what “a person of faith” truly means. Candidates vie for votes by being pro-faith in one debate and pro-humanism in the next. More than ever, Christians need to make the definition clear, reflecting God’s Word alone. This year is a great opportunity to shine our light against the liberal darkness that is making inroads into the Church. After all, the election is an easy topic for discussion.

AMERICA – ABOUT TO ENTER A THIRD
GREAT AWAKENING

I believe that America is about to enter into a Third Great Awakening in which the Church will rise up and combine spiritual values and social awareness in order to transform our society. We have been amiss to allow the government to take up our mandate to maintain a moral and just society. Government is morally flawed, limited in scope---insufficient to answer the nation’s moral dilemma. Do we really believe that government can make up for the Church’s responsibility to be God’s agent of transformation in the world? This is not indicative of the vision God has for us.

God had a dream for America. It is His prophetic blueprint for us to move into the next decade. Without it, the nation may move into a level of moral freefall that can destroy our nation emotionally, morally, and spiritually. The Old Testament gives us a Biblical precedent for talking about a dream for America. Jeremiah boldly spoke for God and said in the first person: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you” (Jeremiah 29:11,12, NIV).

The prophet Jeremiah spoke to his nation in a time of moral decline. His words expressed the displeasure of God with Israel as a nation. They had lost their moral orientation and had begun to stagger like drunken men after a night of carousing. Jeremiah told them that they would be punished but that God had a plan for the nation. Specifically the prophet says the following:

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, says the Lord. - Jeremiah 29:8–9, NKJV, emphasis added

DREAMS FROM A HUMAN PERSPECTIVE –
AND NOT FROM GOD

Preachers, prophets, and “political pundits” of Jeremiah’s day were developing dreams for the nation, but these dreams were of human origin and lacked the perspective and favor of the Lord.

The Church must be involved in shaping both morality and public policy. To do this successfully, we must grow in self-governance. We must root out religious hypocrisy and immorality within the Church, from those in leadership to the person in the last pew. The do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do approach of the modern Evangelical Church will not be tolerated if our voice is to be heard. I believe that the rash of reports of immorality among church leaders as well as politicians is God’s means to expose sin and rid us of hypocrisy. In order to gain an audience, integrity is paramount.

Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream incorporated these tenets. Integration is but a working model of what the Church can do to transform society. While white Americans believe that racial barriers have been eliminated, blacks still feel that true integration has not happened in America.

God also desires for the Church to stand against one of the most pervasive social dilemmas --- materialism. Within the rank and file of local churches across America, we must preach mammon’s demise. Our toleration for the film industry, ***, thug rap music, and other ills, which are fueled by the love of money; is unconscionable.

POVERTY IS STILL A KEY PROBLEM

In contrast to this issue is the pandemic of poverty. Although wealth has generally increased across the continent, black and Hispanic poverty levels have actually increased. We are told throughout Scripture that it is the Church’s mandate to support the poor and the outcast. The government’s blundering attempts to legislate welfare cannot come close to meet the demands of the lower class. The response to Katrina was unprecedented…the government failed to provide systematic quick relief, yet the Church was confirmed to be one of the most charitable agencies in monetary and personnel resources.

GOD—AND THE IRAQ WAR

Next, many of us ask ourselves, How does God feel about the War in Iraq? It is clear in Scripture that there are specific attributes of a just war. Does the Iraq War meet this criterion? Time will not allow me to develop this concept doctrinally, however, be assured that God’s dream is that America should be an instrument of humanitarianism wherever corruption and tyranny prevail. Contrast this goal with the goal of Islam. Jihad has violated our soil and terrorized our hearts in order to force the world to Islam. Christianity must bring the dream of equality and love to convert the world to the Gospel.

We believe we can tell a lot about a person by the kind of company he keeps. Yet, Jesus hung out with the prostitutes, the tax collectors, the poor, and the prisoners. He spoke in Matthew 25:36, “I was in prison and you came to visit me.” The Church has a moral responsibility to visit prisoners, help form groundbreaking prison reform policies and provide support for prisoners’ families. Many churches have aftercare programs that train ex-convicts to pursue exciting and valuable careers. Yet, many more are needed.

GOD’S DREAM FOR AMERICA

God’s dream for America, first and foremost, begins within the small unit within every house in America. From trailer to condo, apartment to suburban rancher, the family remains the first institution from which all other elements of society evolve. The Church has made a stand against abortion while our churched teens continue to have premarital sex and abort their babies.

The crisis for the family goes beyond abortion. We have been appalled at the open, lewd demonstrations of homosexuality, yet we divorce our partners at the same rate as secular society. God’s heart is for two parents of the opposite sex to raise families, which will in turn marry and lead the next generation. Premarital and marriage counseling efforts must increase, while we train healthy relationships how to stay healthy. God’s dream demands that this be front and center to the Christian community.

We are God’s conscience to the nation. Our Biblical worldview can transform society by affecting the people we touch on a daily basis. God’s purpose and therefore our purpose is not to catch people doing wrong, but to defend the truth, allowing it to reveal what is wrong so that we all are drawn to the forgiveness that is found in God’s love. The confrontation that truth requires is not pleasant, nor does it make you popular. You will be accused of being judgmental, but defending absolute truth is not judging; it is holding up a standard by which people must judge themselves or ultimately be judged by God.

THE CHURCH CANNOT WISH
AMERICA'S PROBLEMS AWAY

Christians can no longer afford to put their heads in the sand and wish that the problems of America would just go away. We cannot afford to point the finger at government until we turn that accusing finger back toward our failures to fulfill God’s mandate. Prayer and action are the weapons for each person to participate in the Third Great Awakening. Our call to arms is a call to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit. The living person of Jesus is the ultimate reformer of all societies beginning with our hearts as individuals and then moving to our churches, our communities and our nation at large. God’s dream is as big as the room we make in our hearts to embrace it and take it forward.

To successfully navigate this Awakening and the challenges that will accompany our ascendance to a new level of influence, we must accomplish two very important tasks. First, we must keep the core values that have defined the movement—the sanctity of human life, the preservation of marriage, and the defense of our Christian faith— as our top priorities. Secondly, without neglecting these core issues, we must also reshape our message and agenda to include other important issues that face our generation—issues like immigration, poverty, the environment, and racial reconciliation. We must lay out a strong moral platform and a strategy that will enable Bible-believing Christians of every color to stand together at this defining moment in the history of our nation.

If you want to participate in God’s dream in a greater way, I would challenge you to read a new book that I have written with Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council. We address seven important issues that are on the minds of voters in this election year. Although we come from different backgrounds and experiences, we have joined together under the Biblical directives that should frame all Christians’ minds and choices in the elections this year. Racial reconciliation is just one of the seven issues:

"I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan."

1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past &present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those " good 'ole' boys", we will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines . They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH..learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

Democratic presidential frontrunner Senator Barack Obama's longtime relationship with his former pastor and spiritual mentor Jeremiah Wright is coming under increasing scrutiny from some national media outlets.

ABC, MSNBC and Fox News have been airing excerpts from some of Pastor Wright's sermons, including one in 2003 when he denounced the United States for its treatment of blacks. "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law, and then wants us to sing God Bless America," shouts Wright. "No, no, no, not God Bless America -- God d___ America, it's in the Bible for killing innocent people."

Wright has also raised eyebrows for saying 9/11 was a case of "America's chickens coming home to roost" and that Zionism has an element of "white racism." In addition, he has accused the government of infecting black Americans with HIV.

New Jersey pastor Clenard Childress, founder of the website BlackGenocide.org, says Wright has a long history of spewing anti-American rhetoric and mocking anyone who disagrees with his radical views. "The hypocrisy of that is that he often talks about American policies that have killed innocent people, but yet he and Barack Obama endorse the abortion industry's agenda," he notes. "[The abortion industry] targets African-Americans and has killed far more than 9/11 or many of the other atrocities that he talks about."

Childress says if the mainstream demands more in-depth answers from Senator Obama (D-Illinois) regarding Wright, the pastor will likely resign from Obama's presidential campaign. The pastor believes the Illinois senator needs to do more than just say he does not always agree with Pastor Wright.

"e needs to say [that] indeed he does not agree with the mockery of other Republicans and people who do not have his views [and that] he is not in agreement with the root cause of 9/11," Childress contends.

But according to Childress, the media may not push the issue. "There are many things that Barack Obama could do," he continues, "but as I stated, he'll wait to see [if the] mainstream media is going to give him a pass on this, like they have been doing for quite some time; or [if they will] demand answers and demand some type of explanation, which mainstream media has not done."

Wright, who has said Jesus was a black man who was killed by rich white people, has stated from his pulpit that Senator Hillary Clinton does not understand the struggles of African Americans because she has never been called the "n-word."
