Life is what you make of it ...
I've been trying to fight off boredom lately. It's a hard thing to do. Especially when you spend hours alone. Now I am the type of person that likes to be busy and not sit around for too long without doing things. I have been walking more to try to get some weight off. That's not easy either. I'm trying to find opportunities to occupy my time by volunteering more.
I just listened and viewed a power point presentation about making God the center of your life that I got from
a friend. The main message was ...
Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in man.
Instead of me fighting off boredom, I have actually been taking refuge in the Lord and he is directing me to start
to trust in him and lean more on him than to trust in man. Man will always fail you and the Lord will never fail you.

The Excellence of Wisdom

Waiting at the posts of my doors.

It was a revelation that had just come to me. God wanted me to find this out for myself. It's an added direction to my life I suppose that I am going in the right direction. I try to heed to the calling of my Spirit but sometimes you are never always sure if you have true discernment of the Spirit or if it is the flesh that is talking.
