Avatars are pictures used on the CFAITH Communities site to help identify you to other members of the community. It appears next to all your forum posts, some blogs, and in some photo galleries. Here is an example of a forum post where the user does not have an avatar set. Boring!

You can see that avatars allow you to make your interaction with the site much more personalized. CFAITH Communities strongly encourages you to set an avatar!

To set your avatar, follow the steps below. Note: You must be logged in to set your avatar.

»Step 1: Click on the Edit Profile link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
 

»Step 2: Click on the "Avatar" tab.

 » Step 3: Next to "Enable Avatar," click "Yes." Then, next to "Upload Avatar," click "Browse..."

 » Step 4: Select the photo you wish to upload, then click "Open."

 » Step 5: Click "Update."

 » Step 6: A confirmation message will appear telling you that your profile has been updated. Click "Save Changes" to finish. Your avatar will start appearing on the site in about 10-15 minutes.
