    The Love Law

    The Love Law

    Text: Mat 28:18-20
Joh 15:17  These things I command you, that ye love one another.
    ================
Joh 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
    ---------------
Mat 22:36  Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38  This is the first and greatest commandment.
Mat 22:39  And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
     ----------------
Rom 13:8  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Rom 13:9  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Rom 13:10  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

Is the Love of God in you?
    Is God in you?
If we do not have Love we do not have God!!!
If we do not have Love we are nothing!

1Jo 2:9  He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
1Jo 2:10  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
1Jo 2:11  But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
    ----------------
1Jo 4:20  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1Jo 4:21  And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
    --------------------
1Jo 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
       ============
1Jo 3:14  We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death.
1Jo 3:15  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
1Jo 3:16  Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.
1Jo 3:17  But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jo 3:18  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed (action)  and in truth.
    -------------------------------
1Jo 4:7  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1Jo 4:8  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1Jo 4:9  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1Jo 4:10  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.
1Jo 4:11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1Jo 4:12  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Pursue and follow after Love! (1Co 14:1)
Be like God and Love. (Eph. 5:1-2)GNB  Since you are God's dear children, you must try to be like him. Your life must be controlled by love, just as Christ loved us and gave his life for us….

    The character of Love:
     read 1Corin. 13:1-13AMP
1Co 13:4MSG  Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head,
1Co 13:5MSG  Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
1Co 13:6  It isn't happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth.
1Co 13:7MSG  Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1Co 13:4GW Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn't jealous. It doesn't sing its own praises. It isn't arrogant.
1Co 13:5GW  It isn't rude. It doesn't think about itself. It isn't irritable. It doesn't keep track of wrongs.
1Co 13:6GW  It isn't happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth.
1Co 13:7GW  Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up.
    ---------------------------------------------
1Co 13:4CEV  Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or
1Co 13:5CEV  rude. Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do.
1Co 13:6CEV  Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.
1Co 13:7CEV  Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.
    --------------------------------------
If you are really  born-again, the Spirit of God is inside of you with the Love of God; God is Love, and He won’t make you obey  the law of Love. You  must yield yourself to the Spirit of God and the Love of God that is already inside you.

    Jesus prayed:

John 17:26 …that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
    -----
Rom 5:5  ……… the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

    Paul prayed:
Eph 3:17GW  Then Christ will live in you through faith. I also pray that love may be the ground into which you sink your roots and on which you have your foundation. (KJV=rooted and grounded in Love)
Eph 3:18GW  This way, with all of God's people you will be able to understand how wide, long, high, and deep his love is.
Eph 3:19GW  You will know Christ's love, which goes far beyond any knowledge. I am praying this so that you may be completely filled with God.
    ==========
Phi 1:9  I pray that your love will keep on growing more and more, together with true knowledge and perfect judgment,

    Other notes
ROMANS 13:8-10NLT  8 Pay all your debts, except the debt of love for others. You can never finish paying that! If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill all the requirements of God’s law. 9 For the commandments against adultery and murder and stealing and coveting—and any other commandment—are all summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”10 Love does no wrong to anyone, so love satisfies all of God’s requirements

Lev 19:18  Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the LORD.

    Commentary of John 13:34
Joh 13:34 - A new commandment I give unto you,.... As parents, when they take their leave of their children, in their dying moments, give them proper instructions and orders, and lay their dying injunctions (commands and wishes) on them, so Christ taking his leave of his disciples, gives them his; which were, that they
love one another: as brethren in the same family, children of the same Father, and fellow disciples with each other; by keeping and agreeing together, praying one for another, bearing one another's burdens, forbearing and forgiving one another, admonishing each other, and building up one another in faith and holiness: and this he calls "a new commandment"; that is, a very excellent one.
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another;  as Christ has loved his people freely, notwithstanding all their unworthiness and ungratefulness, so should they love one another, though there may be many things in them observable, which are disagreeable; as Christ loves all his children without any distinction, so should they love one another, whether poor or rich, weaker or stronger, lesser or greater believers; and as Christ loves them not in word only, but in deed and in truth, so should they love one another with a pure heart fervently, and by love serve one another.

    Agape  (greek)
    Thayer Definition:
    1) brotherly love, affection, good will, love, benevolence
    2) love feasts
    STRONG'S DEFINITION:
    ag-ah'-pay  agape
From G25; love, that is, affection or benevolence; specifically (plural)  charity ([-ably]), dear, love.

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

    Vine’s dictionary:
"Christian love, whether exercised toward the brethren, or toward men generally, is not an impulse from the feelings, it does not always run with the natural inclinations, nor does it spend itself only upon those for whom some affinity is discovered. Love seeks the welfare of all, Rom_15:2, and works no ill to any, 13:8-10; love seeks opportunity to do good to 'all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith,' Gal_6:10.

Col 3:12  You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Col 3:13  Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.
Col 3:14  And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.

    Re: The Love Law

I've heard Agape Love described as Unconditional.  I love that.  It is so easy to "love" someone who treats us kind, gives us things and "loves" us.  But God loves us Unconditionally.  He didn't say "Follow all my commandments and then I will send my son to die for you."  He did it without regard to our reactions.  He did it hoping that it would prove to everyone that He is The LOVING GOD!  If we never tithed, God still loves us.  If we never helped the poor, God still loves us.  If we never accepted His Son, God still loves us.  What we choose to do or not to do does not nullify God's love for us.  Can we say the same?  If God never blessed us with another gift, would we still love (obey) Him?  If God never spoke to us, would we still love (obey) Him?  If God never healed us, would we still love (obey) Him?  How we love God is a good reflection of how we love others.  The opposite is also true, how we love others is a good measurement of how we love God.

If every Christian truly loved unconditionally, there wouldn't be a single lost person in the world.

    Re: The Love Law

If there has been any one thing that I have learned from KCM ministries it is the love walk. Kenneth, Gloria and Kellie seem to personify God's love. Not putting them on a pedestal, but just saying it really flows from their ministry and I praise God for the light of love they share with their audiences!

    Re: The Love Law

I learned a lot from them as well, still do... We are so blessed to be alive at this time in God's Plan! Just think God chose us to be alive and see 2007!!! He didn't choose Paul or Peter but He chose You and I and Many others to be in the Kingdom for such a time as this! He obviously has confidence in us to be able to handle the times we live in...of course with Him by our side...

    Re: The Love Law

That was the greatest thing when I got save. I loved everyone in the world ! We talk alot about faith but what some don't realize is if they don't walk in love then their faith won't work either.

    Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

The WORD, The SPIRIT, And PRAYER
are a 'must' in our lives.
