    I highly Reccomend Mac Hammond's 2 cd series on  Lessons in Leadership.
     
    Some of the topics include in Vol. 1:
    The Stewardship Paradigm.
    Eliminating the Threat Environment.
    Servant Leadership.
    Effective Communication.
    Conflict Resolution.
    Developing trust in Leadership.
     
    Vol.2 is awesome too. I encourage every Leader in the church, Administrator of a business, managers in the workplace to listen to these cd's available at Mac Hammond Ministries   mac-hammond.org

    I am probably a little biased (Pastor Mac Hammond is my Pastor), but I think that he is the best.
     
    I am blessed because almost every month we have these Winner's Lunches where he speaks at the majority of them. The topics are on leadership.  And although I don't get to sit and listen, I still am blessed because I serve the food and get to hear some.

    He use to be on TV and I've  missed that. But now He started having webcasts on his site.

    He is still on TV but I think it's only in the Minnesota area.  Sunday Mornings at 10:00. 
     
    I think that they had to cut back on air time because we are doing satillite churches (maybe if we had a Mandatory Tithe we could do both?! j/k)

    Hey, I know this is off the topic a little but can you tell me more about your Satelite churches?
     
    How does that work?
     
    do they actually use a satelite or is it another name for church planting?
     
    as a Certified Pharmacy Tech we use that term "satelite pharmacy" meaning a branch of the main pharmacy (no satelites) but the same computer system, so if someone was a customer in one pharmacy they could get their medications at our other locations...
    I guess it would go the same for churches right? if i joined the WOF here at the San Antonio's WOF satelite church than i could transfer to WOF mother ship in Detroit? right?
     
    Is that how Satelite churches work?   a Mother ship sends out babies ships .....     lol    no but really I wanted to know because planting churches is a God Idea, its New Testament, its not God's plan for us to get so spiritualy Fat and Sassy and Lazy and do nothing with His Word that we have....   knowledge puffs up but Love Edifies..... And Also: Pride Stinketh!

    From my understanding is there is the Main location of the Church (in our case Brooklyn Park).  That is where Pastor Mac preaches in person.  Then we have 4 satelite locations (Duluth, Eau Claire, Downtown Minneapolis, Orono).  These locations are churches that are further out then most would drive to get to them main location.  For example Duluth is about 150 miles from the main location.  At each of the satelite locations there are Pastors.  But the Sunday morning service is broadcasted to the congregation via satelite from the main location in Brooklyn Park.  I have never attended any of the satelite churches so this is just from my understanding.

    You know Texas is becoming like the Vatican..especially Dallas Fort Worth Area, but here in San Antonio is a good place to plant...

    Everything he produces is great. His sermons (which can be downloaded on podcast), his books, his DVDs and CD's-Everything. Not to mention he is seriously entertaining as well-complete with that awesome southern accent that just gets the Word right into us Minnesotans! For the first time in my life I LOVE going to church and I can't get enough of the Word of God in the formats I get from Mac Hammond Ministries. His son Jim is a great pastor too! Listen to or read everything you can from Living Word Christain Center or Mac Hammond Ministries! They ROCK!!!

    Wow,  I didn't know that Pastor Mac Hammond was doing satellite churches also?  Pastor Creflo Dollar is also in the process of setting up satellite churches.  I believe we now have 4  located in Brooklyn, NY, Queens, NY, Carrollton, GA, and Duluth, GA.

    I am praying about starting a church here in San Antonio and even hosting a Satelite church. Tell Pastor Mac, Pastor Dollar, Pastor Savelle  that if they want to start a Satelite church here in San Antonio that I would love to start one for them.
     
    God has changed the times and the seasons and God's Way if Perfect, the Word of the Lord is Tested and Tried!
