Hi Sandy, and everybody,

Can I vote for a bunny name? I like Crystal Rose, cause it goes with Billy.

How is Billy doing.....when does his new wife come??! :-)

jmac is out for awhile.....boy, am I going to miss him and his wonderful humor.

And Aussiegirl, where is she hiding? We are still praying for Dee and her housing situation. God

will be faithful to them! We had a great 4th of July with our daughter and son-in-law where they

just moved in St. Joseph, MO. They are looking for a church and have visited several.

These are two of my six babies spanky is the black and white one .he is a Boston Terrier and Jack Russel mix. God gave him to us after we lost are first dog .He was 5 weeks old when we bought him home and he is now 5 he is a ball of enengry .and he Never leaves my side.You cant see it on the picture but he has a a 4 inch mane(mohawk) going down his back.I always tell him God had a sense of humor when he made you. He is my buddy. The little on is Goliath he is now 2 .When we got him i looked at him and said you need a big name cause you are gonna have a big heart.He is the sweetest little thing.And we have 4 other dogs Nikki 14 pit bull, Sox 9 pitt bull Brandy 10 pitt bull and boxer mix. And sassey she is 15 and is a chuiwawa And zoe the cat

Hello my dear brother AmeriKan ,sooooo sorry for the delay in getting back to you with this reply, I have been trying since I saw your post the other day. Will share updates of Billy and Mrs Billy to be shortly , but first

A BIG WELCOME TO YOU KAREN (krittter) it's lovely to see you here. Thank you for sharing about your doggy family and of course Zoe the cat , which I'm going to ask before our brother AmeriKan does

lol, is she a particular breed , or what is classed as a Heinz variety you know a bit of every thing? would you happen to have a have a picture of her for us to see please?

Well my dear brother what a mix up ! the doe we were supposed to be having, turned out to be a buck!

Remember below pic of Billy when we first got him , remember the M in his ear because the lady we bought him off had to take his litter to a more experienced breeder to (you know , that word

) to tell the boys from the girls

, because as you recall me saying with baby rabbits this can be quite difficult to do at such a young age

, and then this more experienced breeder put either an M or F in their ears so the lady selling them knew exactly what she had. I used to tell Billy the M in his ear stood for Magnificent Creature not to embarrass him lol.

Gosh Billy has grown so much since we got him hes 16 weeks now

Aussiegirl relocated yesterday AmeriKan (you were wondering where she was) but I know she will be back as soon as possible (thinking of you aussiegirl)

Dee we continue! to stand in agreement with you our sister.

Right here we go first of all my voting buddies (when I asked for name suggestions for Billys new wife) put your rocks down now because sorry although we were all going with something Rose I ended up calling her Beauty. Check out her below pic and you will see why.

Below pic is Beauty at age 6 weeks has she appeared on the ad for sale I found her on (how on earth could I resist)

These are her parents- Citrus is mom, Jerry her Dad.

Billy is like a Love sick puppy

( or should I say rabbit , bless him he hardly leaves the gate (there is a HIGH double framed , I emphasis HIGH double framed heavy duty mesh gate divide between them so they can say hello but nothing else (you know what I mean

)

This is Zoe. We got her at the shelter . i was looking for a black and white cat .And went around the corner and found her she thinks she is a dog. when the dogs get there bones she right there waiting for hers.She also tries to bury her food like the dogs do.When goilth was little Zoe used to bat him around like a ball LOL.

kritter......I can see why you mentioned the cat, Zoe, last in your list of pets. You saved the BEST

for last!! Cats do have a way of training us humans. :-) Thanks for the beautiful pictures.

Sandy.....No problem....I love Rose, too. She is simply adorable and her mother is a "knockout!!"

On the flip side, when it comes to raising cats, many breeders place the birthing mother in their

bedroom, so they can be there to assist should the need arise, as in an "emergency." It is

important to keep the kittens near humans because between 2 to 5 weeks of age is the critical

socialization period of a cat's life. Rabbits are probably different. They probably need lots of

privacy when in labor and birthing. Sandy, all of the pictures are always a special treat...thanx!!

Yes, I will be glad when jmac, aussiegirl and Dee are back....they all are a blessing and really

add a lot to this site!!!!

No concern guys , she doesn't have a green tongue really , just the remains of a Fruit Cherry Tree leaf which don't tell my hubby because it's his tree but it's looking a little bald of leaves right now lol.

Sandy....please tell me. Why is it Billy has to sleep in the dirt and Beauty

gets a nice conrete run??!! Is there a little partiality, here?!

I love Beauty's toys.....is that a toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll cut in half?!

And Beauty's house....looks mighty inviting & cozy...quite the abode and, yes,

very stylish!!! :-)

I've just got to show you my two cuties! Jake and Zack are Shelties. Jake is 10 years and Zack is 10 months. We got Zack to keep Jake company and ended up with more than we bargained for! He is ornary and very fiesty and a lot of fun. He keeps Jake and me moving. We absolutely love them both.

Hi guys this is a photo of our youngest daughters kitten named ZOKO (don't ask

). She (our daughter ) has recently got married and of course is used to being brought up with animals (domestic pets I mean there folks not me and my hubby

) any way the man she has married never really had animals has a child

so the interest when he got married wasn't there to just go out and buy a pet for their home together , HOWEVER

hes married to my daughter now and with a flutter of those eyelashes of hers

he was quick to agree on the condition he could name it well of course she agreed.

The first night they got the kitten home it wasn't the kitten that kept her awake but her husband crawling round on the bedroom floor pulling a piece of wool for the kitten to chase after lol. Considering she had to talk him into getting a cat in the beginning now he so protective of Zoko he doesn't want him to go out

They have had Zoko for a week now and today hes off to get all his cat shots.

Sandy....What a beautiful and darling kitten and I love his name!! I am so "jealous," if you

know what I mean. :-) I agree with the "new Dad." Keep Zoko INSIDE....he will live much longer

and be healthier. From a kitten, you can train them to a leash just like a dog. But be sure

to use an H-harness or figure of 8 harness...NOT a round collar. A round collar they can get out of

very easily or choke to death. The other two harnesses are much safer and you can control the

cat better, especially when they are learning to be leash led. While I'm on advice, tell

daughter to get Zoko started on moist food if he is just getting only dry food. Adding moist food

to the diet is paramount to keeping cats hydrated enough. Continual dry food throws them into

a state of dehydration and will destroy their kidneys. For the most part, renal/kidney failure

is very common in cats but can be prevented with daily increased water consumption. Cats will

get more water in the moist food in a day than they will drink from a bowl in a day...believe it or not!!

The electric water fountains are wonderful for cats. It increases their water consumption because

cats love fresh running water.

What a pretty kitten ,i know what you mean about husbands. My husband was so against getting a dog..the very frist one soshua someone was selling and we put her on the bed next to my husband .And a couple hours later still agaist it we bought her. My husband fell in love with her.She gone now but she was the best dog ever .Since then we have gotta 8 more LOL
