Discerner,
You are Right, if someone left out the Jews in Evangelism or denied that Jesus was the Christ would be compromising and straight out False. But I assure you Dr. Hagee has been preaching Christ for 50 years and hasn'y denied him yet. and never will. He has said that if any Jewish person comes into his church he will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ - that He is the Christ.
But The CUFI - Christians United For Israel is not set up to Evangelize the Jew. Although everyone apart of it does and should Preach to the Jew, The CUFI is set up to Support Israel and show Christian Support and Love and many of Dr. Hagee's Books are written for the purpose to condemn anti-semites - jew haters.
As far as the contraversy concerning Dr. Hagee and his "denying Christ" it is not true.
Go to
www.jhm.org and read his response to the contraversy concerning his book "In Denfense of Israel".
In all his years he has always preached Christ as the Messiah. But in the book (which he is rewording) he refers that Jesus was not the Messiah (in the Jewish expectation) as the REIGNING KING but He was the Messiah as the Suffering Lamb. He came to die the first time, but the second time He will come to REIGN.
If any Jewish person came to his church or listened to his preaching or read one of his books they would hear the uncompromised Gospel.
He believes that Jesus is the ONLY WAY and every Jew Gentile and person on earth needs to come to HiM
