    hardware installation

     
     
                  i installed a dvd burner but there are not enough ide connectors to plug it in.what can i do?

    You can buy an internal IDE card that plugs in to an empty PCI slot. Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816102027. Then you just plug your burner into one of the IDE slots on the card.

    My friend how many drives you have? you can buy an IDE connector for multiple drives in one IDE cable just ask..the  computer shop they know...IDE cable for multiple drives....
