I am glad MySpace is responding to that very real and ugly threat. Obviously people have been praying about this. Thanks for the info Doc, very good to know. 

Glory to God ! There are a lot of ways satan has used the internet for his foul purposes but yes we do have dominion over him thru Christ. Hey Doc ! Did you go to the believers convention in Fort Worth .I got to go for 2 days with my oldest daughter and 2 of my grand daughters.What I was there for was great! I wouldn't use Myspace.There are  better  alternatives you know

I've got a MySpace page.  I had my kids make it for me and then I went in and tweaked it.  I've got a beautiful Lion for the Lion of Judah as my background.  It allows me to go in and have my children as my friends and to see who their friends are and also to check up on them.  There is some wonderful Christian fellowship going on in there and yes, I've accepted sinners as friends.  Praise God, someone accepted me when I needed it.

I don't direct this at you Speaky but Many in the Christian world want to hide in their "sanctuaries" ... they want their Christian Music only, Christian Schools... T.V. .. Blog and Forums.. Websites.. etc... by doing this (which is good) we also forget to GO outside our little boxes... to reach the world....

 

Sinners don't (if so rarely) come to church... watch TBN, go to CFAITH COMMUNITIES...   we as a Church must Go to them....

I've run into this attitude quite a bit here in my hometown.  An acquaintance from a play group I was in with my children has this attitude.  She's sending her kids to a private Christian school only because she doesn't want her kids influenced by "those kids".  My point to her (she didn't get it) was that if our kids aren't in the schools to walk in the Light and be a good Christian influence for "those kids", who's going to reach them?  I have no problem sending my kids who are raised in the knowledge of Christ into the public schools, because although we are not of the world, we are IN the world for a reason...to reach the lost.  And to reach the lost, we have to go where the lost ARE.

This person was also one who doesn't think that you should be in church if you don't "look" right...no tattoos, dress respectfully, etc., etc.  Totally ignoring that it's not the outside, but the heart, that matters.  We've had some interesting discussions, and I've always tried to say things in love even when I feel she's totally wrong.  :o)  And when we do discuss this she always tends to backpedal and try to say that what she's saying isn't actually being biased or judging people, but she also hasn't quite gotten why it's not an appropriate view for a Christian.

Anyway, this is kind of veered away from the subject, hasn't it?  I will say, Praise God that we can use our faith to take authority over ALL the places we inhabit!

Just reading what you wrote about christians hiding in their sanctuaries!!  My thought is to throw that crummy old box with its restrictions and religion and its self centredness away!!!!!  I have friends who are living completely out of the box christianity, and I watch them, I watch and listen to their heart for souls and for God, and I see these guys work with the holy spirit and just live in a realm that blows my mind.  Then I look at my life, and the little box that I am edging out of, and pray, God I want to live my life like these people.  Sometimes I think that speaking to people about this is'nt enough, but to live out a life that is "out there" in a God sense is powerful.  You catch something!!!  My answer is, if you feel you are living in a box, and you are struggling to get out of it, get around people who are'nt.   That is living a life with authority. No fear, No restriction, No religion, but in humility, in life, in power, in annointing, fruitfull, AND LOVIN LIFE TO THE FULL!!!!
