Dee Price:
Anyway, I thought I would start with an icebreaker. This is something I was doing with my son recently while we drove into the city. Let's start with one of your favorite Scriptures or passages from both the OT and the NT.
Right now, I'd have to say my most often referred to and quoted OT scripture is Deuteronomy 28:4 “Blessed
shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your
ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and
the offspring of your flocks."
There is another OT scripture that is similar that I like just about as much. Exodus 23:26 "No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. "
Both these have been great to stand on and claim when I've been expecting...and you know, I've never had one miscarriage or any problems with my pregnancies or births, Praise God!
My favorite NT scripture is Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God,
which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what
is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
