For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent

To love the Lord with all our hearts and all our being is the first and greatest comandment. How can we possibly keep His others commandments if we  haven't put first things first,  relying on His power and strength?

What good is it to accomplish anything and neglect our spiritual life? What could be more important?

 

Matthew 16:25
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

We get so wrapped up in the everyday cares of this world and it hinders us spiritually. He personally is to be our priority each day, and also His will for us.

 

Revelation 2:4

He personally is to be our priority each day, and also His will for us.

So  let us return to our first love for Him. When we do so His anointing and  the light within us will shine out to influence all  who we come in contact with.
