    God's Christmas present to us!

My husband didn't know where his children were & hadn't seen or talked to them in 9 years. We had been praying & believing for several months that God would make a way for us to find them. We forwarded a letter to his ex through the child support office, but didn't receive a resonse. We had searched yellowpages.com for his ex before with no results, but we tried again & this time her name came up with an address & phone number!!! He nervously tried to call this weekend & was finally able to speak to his children! They were excited to hear from him & want to see him! We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present!

Re: God's Christmas present to us!

This brought tears to my eyes.  I cannot imagine having been unable to live with or near my children, let alone never seeing
them for nine years!!  I know you are thrilled beyond belief.  Glory be to God for His faithfulness!

I pray this will not be the only and last time you will see them but  that you will be able to connect with them and be a living presence
in their impressionable lives once again.  God is a restorer and healer of the past.
    God is FAITHFUL!!!!!

    Praise God Cassandra!

I didn't grow up with my dad and he had not seen me since I was about 6 months old., and all my life I yearned to meet him.  As I was growing up, my mom would say, I need to try to find your father so you can meet him, but it never came to fruition.  I longed all my life to be able to meet him.  When my mother was retiring, the Social Security administration telephoned her and began to give her lots of information on a younger brother of mine, but naturally, they would not give her any information.

One year, when it was time to place one of my daughters in kindergarten we registered her for school.  Well, the first day of school there were two kindergarteners who missed the school bus, and both myself and the mother of this other child ended up at the school at the same time.  This caused these two little girls to become friends.  One day, I had taken my daughter Freesia over to visit Nicole and as they played, Nicole's mom and I sat and chatted, and somehow we began discussing last names.

I happened to tell her that I used to get teased because of my last name as a child and she asked me what it was.  I told her Hobson.  She said that her cousin was married to a guy whose last name was Hobson.  I said oh, interesting.  Well, my Father's name was Timothy.  She then told me that her cousin's husband was named Timothy.  After some discussion, we realized that her cousin was married to my brother...the same one that they had telephoned my mother about.

Well, we met and through him, I was able to finally get a chance to meet my dad.

One of my favorite Scriptures is Psalm 37:4 - Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

Praise God Cassandra...may this be a time of great fellowship and healing for everyone involved.
