The Holy Ghost taught me something important

Hello Everyone:  I am feeling more at peace today, because I was able to let go of a few bad situations from my past where other people had wronged me in some ways. I was reading a book by Joyce Meyer, and I came across a section about how we must forgive other people, and I realized I had not forgiven the people who hurt me alot in my past, but I have done that now, and the hurtful thoughts are pretty much all gone now.  God bless!!   John_S

PRASIE GOD! Me too, I’m so blessed.

I finally realized; my church cares for me; just as much as friends on Cfaith would. Yesterday, my pastor counseled me. Pas taught me to remind myself “That I’m not the emotion nor the mind but a SPIRIT”. By doing so, my thoughts and emotion will not attach to me.

He said just deal with my mind and the emotion. Don’t let friends feed my emotion. Never allow the devil feeds my mind.

Therefore, keep reminding myself that I’m a sprit being; I can tell my mind what to think and my emotion how to feel.

I felt so much better now. And I’ll work hard for The Lord by fighting the good fight of faith; by being dependent on HIM not independent of HIM.

It was yesterday; that I realized I’m so blessed with such a fantastic pastor.  Pas said this is his note for the church at this website too. http://faithfamilychurch.org.sg/pastoral/the-pastor-and-the-local-church/

The true shepherd loves the sheep. He’d rather die than to see them hurt. He wants to see the sheep blessed and helped more than anything else.

In the natural realm, children in a family sometimes get into disobedience and need a father’s guidance. Sometimes the father of a family needs to provide correction. When your children need discipline, you don’t call an outsider in to take care of disciplining them, do you? Of course not!!

It’s the same way in the local body. That local pastor is like the daddy of the local church. The sheep in a church body need the shepherd to nurture them with the Word of God and care for them in the sheepfold. And if they need discipline, they need a pastor who has their best interests at heart to administer biblical correction in a loving way.

I'm listening to Joyce Meyers right now only on Unbelief.  She has a really good on called Forgiving Debts, she talks about forgiving others, forgiving yourself and yes even forgiving God.
