    Publishing Blog Post

Cfaith Admin......What happened to my Blog post, The Baptism of the Holy Ghost With Fire (??)   After typing it and clicking "Publish," only part of the first paragraph was posted....this was only a small portion of the blog post.  If you can find it and post it in its entirety, that would be great...otherwise, please delete what is there.

    Hi AmeriKan,
I looked this post up in our control panel and can't find record of the original post that you mention above. I believe you can edit this post and choose to save it without publishing it. After you've made the changes/additions you'd like, you can choose to publish it. One thing I try to remember to do before publishing blog posts is to copy the content into the clipboard or even a Word doc, where I can access it if there is a quirk with publishing. Let me know if you have any further questions.....

    God bless!

    Re: Publishing Blog Post

Zakotagirl....That is just my problem....I was finished with the blog, as well as editing and have no copy of it.
There must be a problem with the software used by Cfaith for it to drop most of the posted blog.  Copying
to a "clipboard or Word doc" is new tech for me and have not done it before.  It is just the idea of recalling
and rewriting word for word what was previously written...not an easy task.
Like many of us, I write under the inspiration and the first time via the Spirit is usually the best. :-)
Thanks for your help and advice.

    Hi again...
I completely understand. Getting your thoughts written down and ready to post is a big accomplishment and hard to re-do. Losing a blog post has happened to me, too. So, here is what I do. When you're ready to post your blog, open Word and choose a new document. Then go back to your blog post and select all by using Control + A. (This means to hold the Ctrl button down while you press A.) This will highlight all of the text in your blog post. Then, copy this text by using Control + C. (This means to hold the Ctrl button down while you press C.) Then go to your Word document and use Control + V, (hold Ctrl while pressing V) which will copy your text into the Word document. Now save your Word document and you have a back-up of your blog post.  Go back to your blog post and post. IF something quirky happens again, all you would have to do is open your Word doc and copy and paste the text back into your blog!

Does that make sense or help at all?

    Re: Publishing Blog Post

AmeriKan, I do it the “dumb” way. I write my “blog” out on Microsoft word, check it all out, spelling, etc., then highlight, right click-click on copy, go to blog post page, right click-allow access, web page thingy, then paste from Microsoft.
    Works for me.................
