Doc,
As I read your praise report, I began to cry because of the goodness and faithfulness of God. How
great is our God?! So great, we cannot contain the blessings....they just overflow. Even for those
of you who do not have the praise report in your lives like Doc has just given....if you are going through
a struggle and I know many of you are, God will see you through and bring you out on the other side
with a blessing to testify of...just keep your eyes on Him and His Word. Keep believing and speaking
His Word over your circumstances, regardless how dim it looks. God will honor His Word and perform
it in your life....it "will not return void to you." Oh, praise His holy Name!!!
If your marriage is shakey, being tested or "on the rocks", so to speak, God can and will change the
situation. Don't give up in your confession of faith. God saved our marriage and we are a living testimony of
34 years of survival.
If you are in lack and can't pay the bills, trust in Him for "he maketh a way where there seems to be no way."
I remember when I was in school, things were pretty thin but we kept tithing...people brought us groceries
and $$. God has been faithful ever since with increase, where we are now a blessing ($$) to others in
need.
I, also remember, as a young man, I wanted to further my education but it didn't look like it was going to
happen. A wonderful brother and his wife prayed with me. God opened the doors and allowed me to
further my education. This forever changed my life and the direction of it. It has been one of God's greatest
blessings to me and my family.
It was often a challenge to send our daughters to Christian schools but we never wavered...we were
committed to Christian education. We also sowed seed into ORU for many years. When the time came
our daughters wanted to go to school there (ORU). They graduated debt free. Both married Christian
young men....one is also an ORU graduate. As of this May, both daughters and both son-in-laws will
all have finished their graduate master's degrees. I could not ask for better in my daughters and
son-in-laws. We prayed for our son-in-laws from the time our daughters were small. Both son-in-laws
have good jobs and our daughters are able to stay at home and be mothers. We are soooo blessed.
Several years ago I had sinus surgery with complications. It was a test of my faith. I did not want to have
further surgery to correct the problem. In the natural it did not look good. But I got out every tape and
CD I had on healing...I wrote down my confession of faith for healing. In some ways it was a 24 hour
battle. Three weeks of no change went by.....but suddenly, everything changed...the symptoms left and
the surgeon said, "We are safe, the problem has corrected itself." But we knew who had really corrected
the problem....the Great Physician and my Healer!
Yes, it is easy to look around and see so much "going wrong" in the world but thanks be to God we have
the victory and God and His Word are our only sure foundation to stand upon. We must learn and
know who our source is...the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob...the God of this universe. About a week
ago I was awakened in the night...I got up and went to the bathroom. The Lord spoke a "word" to me.
"Just as the devil has saved things to pour out on the earth in these last days, so have I SAVED things just for
these last days, which you know not of. They are going to be poured out from Heaven to earth and
nothing the devil can do will stop it. Keep your eyes on me and my Word and NOT on what the devil is
doing. I am the source of everything you need. Get ready because, A GREAT ASSAULT FROM HEAVEN
IS COMING!!!!"
