    Blog: Embedded Flash Video Dissapears

    I created a blog entry

    World Faith Conference Video

    I inserted a flash video and it does not display in the post.  It plays in the editor, I Published it and when I look at the "Page Source" none of the

    </object>

     is there.  Just like this post, if I edit the post the code is there, when I post, it's stripped out!

    Is it against policy to post Flash video on this blog?  I cut and pasted the exact same code to my Blogger blog and it worked just fine. http://johnlange.blogspot.com/

    Good Question for Admin.

    Did you send him a private message? Or go to the Forum and look to see if they already answered this question.

    I wish I new what you were talking about, I am learning... I would like to be able to put video or audio on this site as well..

    Hi Stuff4Toys,

    One of our WYSIWYG editors strips out Flash. Fortunately, we have three others that you can choose from. To use the editor that does not do this, click "Edit Profile" at the top of the site (make sure you are logged in before you attempt this). Then click the "Site Options" tab. From the "Content Editor" drop-down box, choose "Enhanced-Classic" and then click "Save" at the bottom. Now try adding your Flash movie, and it should work OK. If for some reason it doesn't, let me know. Thanks!

    HI CC
    I didn't know we could do this. This is good to know. I may try it sometime.
    And by the way the World Faith Conference  looks like it would be great

    We are excited.  This is the first time we have planned an event of this magnitude.  We have done smaller events with 200 - 250 people, but never like this.  We started out with 1000 seats, then in faith increased the capacity to 1200 then 1500, we are now at 2500 seats.  When it gets bigger we will have to find a different location.
