Alright guys, isn't life grand, PTL! I needed that pick-me-up this A.M.--Sandy, thanks!!!!!!!! Love ya sis. Glad to see that Dee Lady back in the mix!
Although I am still "smarting" from the splits, when I dropped the damsel in distress, I will continue on and vote.
I vote for # 5, not because of the color of the "uniform", but because of the parrot and the added goodies like the flowers. My colors would be the black and gold.
Perhaps I over emphasized (thats at least a 2 bit word) the "blond streak", it ran across my head not down the middle, I quess it all depended if you saw me moving sideways or straight on.
    Love ya all,

Jack I just love this God given ability our Lord has given you to make people laugh. I have spilt more cups of tea reading your posts just because i'm laughing so much at the way you explain things God bless you brother  , you are such a blessing to the body of Christ and I appreciate you so much for the laughter you bring into my life, thank you.

Now back to your new costume design , what do you think of this one below? are there any other features you would like on it?. You said you liked the black and gold and  If you notice (hard not to really lol) this particular model comes with it's own built in budgerigar rather dashing I thought  So your next challenge my brother is to think up a name for the birdy (something I can fit on his hat please )
ooooooo nearly went then without leaving you the costume , so here you go broth

First off, (whatever that means), that is for certain a 4 bit word, budgerigar, WOW! You will have to give me some time to think of a name for this guy, quite impressive I might add!
Perhaps others can come up with a name, too much silliness running around in my head at the moment, names like chigger, tickbite, mudhog, of course those are the "milder" ones. He is too regal for such as that, after all he's an American symbol of about all of what we stand for.
Oh well, I'm getting mushy. later!

Re: This concerns our very own resident Super Hero!

Sandy, I just have to post this here since you brought up the word "budgerigar", I thought this funny would be well timed!

    Installing a Carpet

A carpet layer had just finished installing carpet for a lady. He stepped out for a smoke, only to realize he'd lost his cigarettes.

Upon returning to work In the middle of the room, under the carpet, he saw a bump.

''No sense pulling up the entire floor for one pack of smokes,'' he said to himself. He proceeded to get out his hammer and flattened the hump.

As he was cleaning up, the lady came in. ''Here,'' she said, handling him his pack of cigarettes. ''I found them in the hallway.''

''Now,'' she said, ''if only I could find my parakeet.''

Don't you know that parakeet was madder than a smashed cat!

    Those are beautiful birds Aussiegirl.
Could it be that I have just been called a "Bird with attitude"? Well I never.........
We once had a little gray bird, that really got attached to me. I had a diesel car that was a little noisy , when I would pull in the driveway the bird would start hopping around and chriping. She knew the sound of my car. She once got scared when the outside door was opened and flew out side. About two hours later I heard her chirping down the hill, I went to her and she flew from the tree down to me. Finally had to give her away, the two Boston Terriers about killed her. She had free run of the house.

Hey Jack..this is a picture of some budgerigars.......

Reminds me of a funny story.....this really happened once ......When my parents were travelling around Australia..I was asked to take care of Mothers beautiful much loved..Budgie..Well! I forgot ..and left him out in the wet..on discovery I found him ..(it is sad but it does have a happy ending..so don't cry just yet!)..on his back stiff with his legs straight up in the air..Oh My Lambs!!!.I cried out to God..Please Father bring this little bird back to life or I will be a dead one when my parents discover ..I picked him up and held him close to my heart and cried and wrapped him up very warmly and took him in side the house and covered him with a cosy blanket....and prayed more..Well!!..the next morning bright and early... I heard this chirp!! chirp!!..I raced into the room where I had ever so gently and lovingly put him the night before..and discovered ..God had breathed life back into this little bird..And..He was chirping loud and eating breakfast..to this very day my parents don't know anything about this ordeal..It is a Family Secret hidden away..Shh!!..Hush!!...till all is revealed..Oh!! My!...Hidden Secrets...*******

The first words the little budgie spoke were..Shh..Hush..Don't tell MaMa..Hidden Family Secrets.........(No.. No..that bit was just a little joke ..He never said anything..but he did give me some strange looks!!...Hum!!!)..Do Budgies have memories???..

Could well have broth  after all , that would tie in with your girlish figure remember

Also the little gray bird you refer to , was it a Cockatiel like in below pic? this is our Cockatiel named Janice

This is her companion (below) named Leroy. Leroy is female (yes folkes you heard that right) She is around 15 years old now, we bought her after another Cockatiel named Sam (who was a gray like Janice) passed on. We bought Leroy from a breeder who assured us it was definitely a male Cockateil, which is just what we wanted because of their song, she said there was no doubt the bird was male because she had been breeding Cockatiels for years and she considered her self an expertwell several clutches of unfertilized eggs later that Leroy layed we were quick to come to the conclusion something strange was a foot. Yes folks you got it in one , this was no ordinary Male  infact Leroy was no Male at all  shes all woman

And jmac they both do exactly the same has your bird used to do broth , when they hear my husbands car approaching the house they also start chirpping and flapping round their cage to let me know hes home.
