Hello All...

 

I have been without Internet service at home for quite some time and have only been able to access for a little while each day here at work.   Praise God, it's back now but it's my busy time at work, so I've been really trying to get everything prepared before I go off to the Great Lakes Believer's Convention in a couple of weeks.

 

Anyway, Larry and I've been holding fast to our faith in God.  I haven't said much about what's been going on recently as I don't want to talk the problem.  I will tell you that...

 

God is good and I praise Him for His goodness.  We are living in this house and moved in over the course of three days last weekend.

God's goodness and faithfulness to His word abounded when we got up Friday morning the 1st, ready to go and get the truck to move, and I had a text message on my phone from this woman stating thatthe landlord had an accident and we could not move in on that day.  It was his girlfriends daughter who fell off the trampoline that he had set up here at the house and broke her arm in two places.

God's goodness and faithfulness and love abounded when we found out that the woman who was orchestrating this whole thing was in Colorado and we were told by her that we could not move in without a lease, which she never sent us.  She finally sent it this past week to the landlord, but it's still not signed because Frank, the landlord has not been back up since we got the lease.  The Lord led me to write something out last Friday which we all signed and dated in order to cover ourselves just in case.

God's goodness and faithfulness and love abounded when we were told by the woman in Colorado that we could not move our stuff in after we had spoken with the landlord and he said it was ok for us to move in.  Our old landlord had started eviction proceedings because we had not had a lease since May and he wanted us out.

God's goodness and faithfulness and love abounded when this lady called screaming that we could not move in because we had to have insurance which she never told us we needed.

God's goodness and faithfulness and love abounded when all we had was the security deposit and not the rent.

God's goodness and faithfulness and love is still abounding as we have gotten rid of all of our furniture and were told that we have  to give him all of the money for the furniture as opposed to paying for it over the course of 10 months as we originally agreed to.

God's blessings are abounding and He will give us the money for the furniture.  We are trusting God to give us not only the furniture in this house, but also to give us this house.  He wants to sell it and I believe it's time for us to stop renting.  He wants an answer on the furniture by September as to whether or not we can pay him for the furniture that he's left in the house.  He's asking $5,000 and for what is in the house, it's a really good deal.

This is where I need you to stand in agreement with us.

I will try this again. Aussiegirl, I am also having trouble posting.

I had surgery on my shoulder in Oct. Physical therapy is quite trying! I had some other problems since then. Thought I was not going to make the "Rapture",  but still here-lol.

Hey Sandy.. you are a real hoot...I live on the beautiful sunny Gold Coast and it has been raining heavy  for several weeks..and we are in summer..lol.. ......Absolutely I think you should come to Hayman Island as well......Oh by the way does that mean you will come to Nepal next year with me as well??...or perhaps Israel...or  Prayer Mountain in the Ozarks.....Now that would be something else..
